A good golfing read I have known Ron Reid for a number of years albeit he lives in California and I am in the UK, but he told me he was writing a book about his experiences of starting the US Open over twenty five years. I didn’t give it much thought and suddenly there it was, a beautifully produced book that anybody would like on their coffee table. What goes wrong and right at the US Open A fascinating book filled with insights into the players and officials involved in the US Open and very amusing anecdotes. The author is not above pulling fun at himself and revealing his strengths and weaknesses. A great read!
