Pre-formed U shaped sock aid, no need to bend, but may be too narrow for very wide feet. Robustly made, boxed. Excellent, providing you don’t have very wide or mis-shapen feet. Unlike my first purchase of a Sock Aid, this one is suitable for use by persons of limited dexterity.This terry towelling and shiny fabric covered aid is pre–formed into a U shape, unlike others which are flat and have to be bent into shape. Simply outstanding Recent hip surgery mean no more touching my feet for a while. Advised to buy this type of product but was a little wary of how good they would actually be. Opted for this one and so happy. Such a simple device allows socks to go on perfectly without any stress or straining. Been a god send since operation and would recommend not just to post op folk but anyone who has issues bending down to put sock on. One of my best buys ever – Brilliant

Completely useless Completely useless might just work if you had very narrow/small feet and were trying to fit large thin and stretchy/yielding socks. If there was any ‘resistance/elastication’ in the sock then it would be impossible to get a foot into the device let alone get a sock on (maybe if you had a second person assisting forcing the device open for your foot to be inserted it might be possible to get a sock on but that rather defeats the object of the device). I found it was far ‘easier’ to struggle to…
