Srixon AD333 golf ball – good ‘standard’ amateur ball-on-a-budget. To help judge my comments, a little about my golf: amateur, longish-hitter (driver 270-280 yds, 5-iron 185 yds, 9-iron 145-150 yds), once played off 7, realistically more like 10-15 on a good day nowadays.The balls:Good distance driving off the tee and not as much deviation on mishits as I thought there might be. However, enough to shape an iron shot around trees if needed. Decent feel off the clubhead with irons, though you definitely feel off-centre strikes.Medium feel on…

Good quality balls Exactly as expected. Good quality balls for the mid- range handicapper. This is the third box I’ve had and they’re very good. No difference from the regular colour balls of course and easy to spot in the rough (when I occasionally place my ball there). They will last about 4 rounds before looking rather scuffed – but I don’t often manage to keep them that long! They don’t take the spin as well as more expensive balls which is no doubt why they are at this price point. So for touch players…

Good quality mid range ball I tend to use yellow golf balls for 2 simple reasons:1. They are easier to see in most conditions2. Most people tend to use white, so it is easier to differentiate them from you partners balls.The AD333 has always been a decent mid range ball, and these are no different.
